Diversity of Genesis

A figure of all.

This work is composed of the natural colors of six different wood species. The crown is carved from canary, the head from curly maple and black walnut, and the cloak from African Padauk, Curly Maple, Iroko, Canary, and Aromatic Cedar. The base, made of pine and coated in acrylic, carries the flow of the piece into blues and whites, signaling peace.

Diversity of Genesis embodies continuity and forward movement, a reflection of how all people, all stories, and all identities move together.
